Volusion Gold - Another well-know hosted shopping
cart software. It comes with a large number of features and about 50
precreated templates (only 7 are free). It is based on Microsoft ASP
technology and thus is to be used only on Windows servers. Moreover,
design modification becomes not an easy task because of ASP rules and
restrictions.
Volusion provides packages for web stores of different
sizes, and if you need more features, hosting space or bandwitdth, you
need to move to a more expensive package. Unlike ViArt, Volusion
license presumes per-month charges. Such charges differs from $30 to
$200 per month.
Moreover, the largest Volusion hosting package includes
only 5GB of bandwidth. All traffic above this limit cost 1 cent per MB
(megabyte). ViArt customers are free to choose any hosting provider
they want.
While setting up order customer can include several
design services for customization. So Logo and banner creation services
costs $495 for each and Flash banner price is $675. In comparison, Logo
from Qualiteam costs twice less, new Banner will cost about $100 and
Flash object price is about $200.
